Easter Sunday

We had a nice Easter Sunday here in Spain. It was quiet and we celebrated alone as a family. We went to the galley on base for a great Easter brunch with some friends but other than that, it was just us. O woke up to the Easter bunny leaving her an Easter basket, a small amount of candy, Barbie doll and costume jewelry at her spot at the dining room table. She was surprised and very happy with the bunny. She loved the Barbie-did not put it down all day. She even took a nap holding her. And, on a side note, she asked to take Barbie to school with her today (Monday) to show everyone. It makes me so happy because I loved playing with Barbie's when I was young and I saved mine hoping I would have a daughter who likes them. My dream came true:)

Below are pics of our day...

A posed family pic. Justin likes to have us all looking into the sun hence why I can barely keep my eyes open and look not so good.

First thing in the morning. O holding her Barbie and wearing some costume jewelry.

Studying how she can destroy Barbie's beautiful hair style.

Later in the day...still holding Barbie.

In her bounce house...still holding Barbie. If you have an overly energetic child, I highly recommend buying one of these mini bounce houses. Best money we ever spent to get our child's energy out.

Taking a bounce break...still holding Barbie.

Daddy had to take a 10 minute cat nap in the afternoon and O wanted to make sure he had all the necessary items for his nap. Pillow-check. Blanket-check. Teddy Bear-check. And what is that? How selfless! She gave up Barbie for Daddy to hold while taking his nap:)

Ughh...Barbie hair. I hate to even give them to LC knowing how the hair is going to look after only a couple of days. So glad that she loves them.:)

And love the dress she's wearing!
